Thank you for welcoming our produce into your kitchens over the last 5 weeks. We appreciate your enthusiasm for spring greens, scallions, herbs, and a little more kale. The 5 week spring CSA certainly went by quickly!
Winter Squash and Pumpkins are almost all in the ground! Jav, Shawn, Riley, Elvrald, Wyatt, and Colin all rallied and planted hundreds of plants in the 11 mulched beds Shawn created (See the photo from last weeks newsletter). Delicata, Acorn, Butternut, Kabocha, Pie Pumpkins, and Pumpkins are set up to thrive there this season.
“There” refers to the Oxbow, a piece of property we lease. If you ride on the bike path from littleton out toward Whitefield, you will pass our fields. We Thank the Allard family for supporting us with this lease.
Eventually this will become a true oxbow lake, formed when a river's wide, looping curve (meander) is cut off, creating a U-shaped body of water.
Now available in the farm-stand are these incredible cards created from photos taken here at the farm, by artist Mary Bevilacqua.
We are just amazed by these, and hope you are too!
Thank you for being a part of the Spring CSA for 2026! All those part of the summer CSA season, we look forward to seeing you again next week!
Final Spring CSA Pickup is from 3:00 - 6:00
Woodland Community School children and parents may be still in and around the driveway when pickup begins, please be careful navigating the parking lot.
If you are unable to pickup Thursday, please let us know so we can put your share aside to be picked up at your earliest convenience.
As you park your car please be aware of Woodland Community School kids and parents as well as other CSA Members. We want to keep the flow of cars going.
