For those joining us for the FALL CSA, the first pickup is next week! We no longer have any space in the Fall CSA however we recommend checking out our Farm Bucks program. Purchase $100 in farm stand credit and we will give you an extra $10.

The harvest and season transformation continues
This past week the winter squash and pumpkin took place. Pumpkins galore occupy a trailer by our kiosk and the Butternut squash, Pie pumpkins, Kabocha Squash, Sunshine Squash are right next to our farmstand in large gaylord containers. All are being sold per item versus by the pound.
Definitely the most winter squash we have brought back to the farm in years.

Greenhouse 2 cucumbers came out this past week. a Fall crop of Salanova will take its place. As of now, cucumbers are done for the season.
To ensure proper storage, onions dry on tables outside under our pole barn before heading down into our root cellar.
There are now direct seeded greens successions at the Oxbow, Garden 7 where the onions were, and here in Garden 1 by the asparagus.

Remember all the photos from last week about the spinach in GH8? The tarp came off and after a little water, the spinach is up and doing well. With row cover and a sealed up greenhouse, the spinach will lay dormant this winter, perk back up when daylight hours increase and the weather begins to warm again ultimately providing us with a good spring crop.
Pickup
—Woodland Community School children and parents may be still in and around the driveway when pickup begins, please be careful navigating the parking lot.—
Come anytime between 3 pm and 6 pm to choose your share on your pickup day.
As always, please bring your own bags or box to gather your choices.
Remember to contact us in advance if you will be unable to pick up on your day, so that we can store your share in our walk-in refrigerator to keep it fresh. You can email or call us to let us know. Thank you to all of those who have already arranged another time to pickup!
